Notch, 2025 by Emily Quandahl isccomposed of hand-stitched works made from paintings created during her time in Mexico City using acrylic and cyanotype sunprints. The installation brings together multiple painted surfaces, shifting between wall-based painting and soft sculpture.

The work consists of a two-dimensional wall painting and a separate soft sculptural piece that rests on the floor, dropped and gathered like a blanket after being released. Presented as part of the group exhibition gaptooth at Casa Lü Parque, Mexico City.
